Kindness Day - A Recipe For Life
We love our food in our little cottage. My partner and I are true foodies, so its with care, when we share that we have just recently begun a cleanse ritual - it’s deliberate and is faced with great food 2 days after and 2 days before the cleanse day. The reason for this cleanse day (once a week in our case) is to give our bodies, jaws and minds a break from creating a meal, eating it and digesting it. So, one day a week we have liquids only. We mostly do the “Master Cleanse” lemonade plan from the skinny book on doing a master cleanse. It’s about being kind to ourselves and it felt like a great spot to share with you………..
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons lemon or lime juice (1/2 lemon)
2 Tablespoons maple syrup
1/10 tsp cayenne pepper
Water to make up to 12 oz
Method:
8-10 glasses a day, along with at least 2-3 cups of herbal tea with maple syrup, and 2-3 cups of water.
Relax on cleanse days. Sleep a lot, journal a lot, meditate and be more quiet. Let us know how you do……
