Dreamy, Creamy Cashew Milk Recipe

We have been leaning toward a Vegan lifestyle in our little cottage and it would have seemed impossible and then daunting, maybe even slightly miserable to contemplate at first. Then something happened! We were both horribly overweight and had to do something fast. I don’t think it’s healthy however, to gain lots of weight over years, and then lose it quickly. Timing is important and creating a healthier lifestyle is important for long-term weight loss, and we both felt it was right for us to develop longevity and better health with a plant-based, no oil eating plan. We are loving it and the cravings are almost gone…………

This recipe is our plant based flavored coffee creamer.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups raw cashews

  • 2 cups clean water

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence (or other optional flavorings)

  • 1/2 cup Agave nectar

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method:

  • Place all in high speed (Vitamix) blender

  • Blend for 5 minutes

  • Liquid will be thick creamy and warm

  • Place in the fridge to chill
