Communication is the Cornerstone
Communication is the major cornerstone of all and any relationships on this earth plane.
It's interesting how we can each feel we have communicated well and then the realization hits with misunderstanding, that everything discussed somehow fell down.
Getting up from miscommunication and misunderstanding is way more challenging than when we've communicated well in the first place. That doesn't mean we have to get everything right - I don't feel that's really possible.
Communication is after all a discussion that leads to understanding and we don't have to start or even end on the same page. Life is so much better when we do have clear connection and that tends to come from really good communication. Great relationship is a direct result from great communication.
There are a couple of steps that help........
Know what your intention is in any upcoming communication.
Write out what you wish to accomplish in the conversation, especially if it's been difficult in the past.
Be prepared to listen to the points of whoever you're speaking with, as well as getting your own points across.
