 There is a focus I want to travel to with you, if that’s ok……….

Our eyes are designed to look out into this beautiful and diverse world, with all its diversity and many distractions. We are supposed to enjoy the views and allow our experiences to stem from them and vice versa. However, there is great added value in our permanent self, by making the time and space to step inside, learning and growing from within, to further understanding of the self and to deepen the relationship we are always in, developing our capacity and awareness to stretch into self mastery. 

Stepping inside on a regular basis takes practice like anything else. It’s finding the quiet and wise voice within, to follow the inner guidance always available to each of us. The practice is sacred, sweet, loving and gentle. In this place there is more time and space than in the material world. There has to be room for us to stretch out and find more capacity that is then shared as a leading example to anyone watching and listening for authentic leadership, in what has often been quite a lost society. 

The design of our material world has in the past, created more challenges than earnest solutions, and many humans have felt they were barely able to survive, let alone reach the greater potential of thriving. The best way out is in. We are way more practiced at being out in the material temporary world rather than as invested as is ideal in our greater inner self of the more permanent spiritual world beyond the shorter layers of this existence.

Here’s some of the practices that support the inner layers………..

Movement - the body is the temple that houses the spirit and needs to be fed with inspirational motion, to keep all the moving parts well oiled. Any and all regular movement of choice will do. Swim, cycle, walk, dance, move and the more you move the better the body is.

Food - listen to how, when and with what the body wishes to be fed and nourished, both with food, liquids, relationships and community. Discover and keep asking to be shown how to meet the needs.

Expression - take a look at how, where and how often expression is alive and fired up from within you. Art, creative outlets, music, anything that allows the feeling of being free.

Communication - a higher nature of inner dialogue that’s of a positive conscience- checking and seeing if the self talk is good and of value. Are you your best friend or worst critic? Best friend is a good choice to make……

Gentleness - soft spaces to generate - baths, massages, facials, pedicures and more. Celebrate time and space for you.
