Attitude of Gratitude Newsletter

What a lovely reason for the subject of this newsletter!

It’s so easy to consider “Thanksgiving” as a deliberate time to be grateful, yet all the spiritual books I’ve ever read speak to thankfulness being a state of mind that carries great strength. Having not always been in the practice of living in daily gratitude (a state of Grace) I find myself more blessed by this more natural manner of being on a consistent basis every single day and sometimes all day long, and I’m here to confirm that it never gets old. Here’s where the practice makes every day a little more perfect…….

Jeff and I have begun a pretty solid routine, with 5 days a week of going into the gym to either do a dance class, or lift weights, followed by the pool and water aerobics then some lap swims. From Monday through Thursday afternoon, we fast with high protein, keto-friendly shakes, clear broth and infused waters and iced mushroom coffee. We both felt larger than life (not in the good way) and intentionally chose to live this way to change our relationship to food and movement.

 Personally I awaken every day checking in on my ever slimming and toned self. I’m so grateful that my body has been willing to challenge the mindset to be better and do better for it’ own strength, endurance and longevity. The gratitude has forged a pathway to greater flexibility and joy, with a more vital lifestyle, and no more excuses. In the past I used to say I wasn’t overweight, and was instead, under-tall……….now I’m simply grateful that the body feels pretty darned good and the mind is in full support of living our best life.

We all have reasons to be thankful for something and it’s our personal journey to discover what makes us happy and grateful, preferably every day.
