Lifting Spirits Newsletter
Perhaps in this newsletter it could easily be interpreted that lifting spirits may be clinking a glass with a loved one to celebrate a moment, a milestone or an event. However, when I consider lifting spirits, I think about humanity as a whole, and how improved it becomes when we lift one another up. When we can stand on the shoulders of another, the reach is far greater. If we all stood on the shoulders of our ancestors at their inspired best, there is no limit we cannot stretch beyond.
In past societies there was way too much emphasis on breaking each other down, being better than, judgment and inequality. We have the opportunity as we awaken to make a difference in each other’s lives, helping next generations to be more considerate, kind, uplifted, and help one another to meet their dreams.
We all have dreams, hopes and desires, and we all came from the stars and other realms beyond this one. When we can assist our fellow human to be its greatest self we create the type of reality we want our children and neighborhoods to inherit. It’s always our choice how we show up and raise each other up.
Lifting spirits is a positive flow, a stream of consciousness that could spark a contagious awakening. Perhaps this is already happening and we can make such a difference in expanding it. A spoken kindness, a pause for well mannered reflection, a sweet gesture to another, patience shown to others who needed it. These are just a few examples of how we can lift spirits and change humanity to make it more whole.
