Success -A Spiritual Story
One of the loveliest moments for me occurred when life was at an odd bookmark in my story. A wonderful healer, and a friend of mine, did some great allergy clearing work in Southern California, where we sent clients back and forth to each other all the time. I knew she was a very safe place for my precious people to go and receive some of the best healing work on the planet. I had the great good fortune of meeting and doing some work with her family and friends, and met her father before he passed.
It was in a very challenging time in my journey, and he held my hand as we met, looked straight into my face, telling me I was an obvious winner and that he saw me standing in the winners’ circle with his delightful daughter. He let me know that the world was blessed to have me here on earth. He was one of the first people that referred to me as an Angel. I cannot tell you how deeply his words touched my heart, at a low time when I needed to hear that.
At the time I was holding up a large healing center and my whole staff had deserted me, when my mother got terribly ill and lost her eye and half her face to a massive tumor. I was unlocking a huge rental space every day, doing enough work to pay the bills, then rushing home to provide healing and care to my weak and beloved mum. She improved ( she didn’t have much choice) because I needed her and was in no way ready to lose her from my reality.
Her recovery was a success story I needed for very selfish reasons. Her incentive to become well was the most loving act of heroism I’d ever seen. In her healing, I wasn’t her Angel, and instead I showed up as a taskmaster, making her improve quite quickly so that she could step back into the business and support everything we were doing. I was a bit lost without her. She was the backbone of my success in that business. I realized then and saw it everywhere I have been since, that there is always support for anyone who has or will experience success. One of the major mistakes individuals make is not recognizing it, or simply failing to grant acknowledgement for the people that helped get them to the pinnacle of their success.
It’s important to remember that success is not an island and rather it’s a collaborative effort.
