Wishes - A Spiritual Story
I hope each of us has wishes, and many of them. I also hope that when and if they haven’t come true yet, this doesn’t create a spiral downward, into a lack of hope, where we are then dealing with loss.
Wishes are a sweet part of the creative process, and it’s like a piece of unfinished art, always in progress, across a whole lifetime.
I have found that when I’ve wished for something big, important, and there’s a slightly heavy attachment to the outcome of it, I’ve often been left hanging a bit. Yet when there’s something not at all important, with no attachment to any outcome, it’s often been way more likely to show up, with a sense of personal surprise and awe.
There have been times when my visualization has manifested in such detail, that I was astonished at the accuracy, and have experienced this with clients, family and friends.
Here is a simple story of watching wishes turn to reality…………….
Many years ago, I had a client who became a gentle friend as well.
She was in the early stages of divorce, with two wonderful young adult women daughters. I loved that family, and had the privilege of working with all three of them, at different times. The mum was grounded and committed to her family, while her husband, in full mid- life mode, who had created great wealth, was running around with young, scantily clad women. We had to move her past what she hadn’t wanted, which strongly included the end of her marriage, and all the fear of losing the family unit, she so deeply wished for. Instead we then turned to helping her to create a new set of wishes, differently to the ones she began with. As she transitioned from the beautiful designer pool home, into a small cottage, there were many emotions to wade through.
Once the marriage was ended, divorce finalized, and doors closed behind her past life with the family unit, it was time to wish and dream the new life into existence.
She would lay on my healing table, drifting into a lucid dream state, speaking aloud what she was bringing in. I began leading her into a guided mediation, then I stepped out of her mental and outer auric fields, only working on the physical, to ground her wishes and dreams into reality.
She reached a point of connectivity, where she was walking around a very pretty Southern Californian cottage, with river rocks and exposed wood, and there was a delightful, twinkly eyed man to greet her. I loved the descriptions she gave out loud. They were detailed and quite joyful to witness. She had a smile and was peaceful about the future she was seeing so clearly.
Within a month, this reality showed up, the house first and then the man.
I loved how her wishes were also her reality.
