Divine Design - A Spiritual Story

There are so many stories to share, from providing insightful guidance for over 32 years, all over the world. It’s been such an honor to do this work, not only with individuals and groups, but also within my own physical and emotional being, as I grow my consciousness in an intentional manner.

I remember when I was in massage school in Santa Barbara, California, and a few of us went out for appetizers and drinks (I don’t tend to consume alcohol) but found that it doesn’t matter what’s in my glass, to allow me to have fun with the people I am with anyway. One of my fellow students had recently discovered that visionary gifts were opening up in me, and she asked me to just go ahead and read her. I don’t like doing that in social settings and it doesn’t respect my time, so I gently declined.

She literally followed me around while I snacked and chatted, asking and asking again and again. I silently looked up and requested help from my guides to grant me some kind of peace in the whole situation, so I could enjoy my evening like everyone else. After all, we wouldn’t ask a dentist to give us a quick cleaning in the middle of a restaurant, so why shouldn’t I be able to hold the same professional boundaries as that?

My guides told me that it wasn’t just her asking, it was her guides wanting to deliver her a message and they were almost nagging her to nag me.

I turned to her and told her I usually refuse, but her guides were even more annoyingly insistent than she was, and I then shared with her that she needed to pick up the phone and call her Grandmother and tell her how much she mattered, and that she had made a huge difference in her life and thank her for all the sweet times they had together. I invited her to promise she would do this within the next 24 hours.

She left with a puzzled look on her face. I think she wanted to know about love, success, her life and not about a simple phone call of love and gratitude to her Grandmother. The rest of the evening was much more peaceful and uneventful. I forgot about that whole interaction, until I walked into the massage school the following Monday.

There was a whole group circle, speaking quietly, that all stopped and stared at me. In the middle was the student who had bugged me at the restaurant. She walked over to me and threw her arms around me, with tears, thanking me for the insights, because her Grandmother left our world within a day of her sweet telephone conversation. I love “Divine Design.”
