I have most often leaned in toward signs and signals, to help me feel led and guided. It’s a support system, that I feel is worth paying attention to. I would go as far to say that with enough attention, there are signs and signals available to each of us every single day, and in most relationships and transactions we undertake.

In my own case, however, I have misread some of the signs and signals, over all these years of working with spiritual principles. This has been especially true in a couple of areas of my own journey.

I have a couple of juicy examples to share with all of you…………………

One example was that I was in the midst of a wonderful healing massage session, while living in Central California. I was so swept up in the massage, that it surprised me completely when three of my guides stood outside the massage room I was in. They were wearing snow clothes, wooly hats and mittens. They were awfully cute, and I took the sign that we should pack warm clothes for our family trip the following week, at the end of October, when we were off to Chicago.

We packed sweaters, long pants, a warm coat each and boots. We each had a simple shirt and one pair of short pants in case the weather turned. Most of our cases were full of warm, heavy clothes. We landed late afternoon and from the day we arrived in that fabulous city, they were having a massive heatwave. It was unusually warm for that windy city. We had a blast, wearing the same clothes the whole three days while there.

Thank goodness for showers and hand washing. I misread the signs and we all paid a funny, slightly poor fashion statement price, and otherwise all was well.

Another big and very personal example of misreading the signs was in relationship. I had been in relationship with my husband for 14 years and when he passed I was shown I had time. I saw opportunity to share with him, to take him home and allow him to leave our World from the home we both loved. He had been spending much of his last year of life with his four children and 12 grandchildren, so the time I thought we had was more than precious. We only had a few days.

I ran out of time and I thought my guides didn’t give me any signs to show me otherwise. After the sweet passage of his physical being from the earth plane, I reflected back, noticing that they had sent me signs and signals all along the way. I just hadn’t noticed enough to recognize the clarity of the messages, which pointed to exactly what was about to happen.  

I am way more aware of noticing and being more fully present to receive signs and signals.
