Worthy - Vegan Margarita Pasta Recipe

We are so enjoying some of the dishes we are uncovering in this Vegan lifestyle and this is way up there on top of the list of oh wow - delicious and not deprived at all.

It’s really easy and low oil.

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of bow tie pasta (or a pasta you love)

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning

  • 2 bunches fresh Basil sliced thin (chiffonade)

  • 12 grape tomatoes cut in half

  • 1/2 medium red onion diced

  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil

Method:

  • Cook the pasta at a rolling boil for 7 mins or al dente

  • Toss the pasta in a strainer

  •  Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning to coat pasta

  • Toss the pasta with the olive oil

  • Add the red onion

  • Add the basil

  • Toss all and serve hot or cold
