 Amazing Life - Berry Bowl Recipe

There’s been a great trend for the Acai bowls and I’ll be honest by admitting I don’t like them. I don’t like them at all, even though they’re good for you. This recipe is my version and I really really like it a whole bunch. Try it and you can always make your own style that works for you.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups oats

  • 1/2 cup cashews

  • 1/2 cup almonds

  • 1/2 cup raisins

  • 1/4 cup cranberries

  • A little warm water to soak berries

  • 2 Tablespoons sugar for berries

  • 1/4 cup blueberries

  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds

  • 1/cup agave nectar split into two portions of 1/2 cup each

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 cup coconut cream

  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar

  • 1/4 cup grated coconut

Method:

  • Toast the oats, nuts, seeds in 1/4 cup water

  • Add the sugar, stir to golden

  • Add coconut with 1/2 of the agave nectar

  • Once golden, remove all of it and cool

  • Mix the coconut cream with the other 1/2 agave nectar

  • Soak the raisins, blueberries and cranberries in a little warm water

  • Add the 2 Tablespoons sugar

  • Mix to combine

  • Layer a glass dish with coconut cream

  • Add oat mix

  • Add berries

  • Repeat Layers

  • Serve
