“Tigger” - Fruit Kebabs Recipe

This is such a fun recipe and with the reduced balsamic dipping sauce, whoever is enjoying these, will love the vibrant colors and flavors that go with this happy dish.

I would definitely choose a colorful array of different fruits, that although ripe, aren’t so soft that they can’t be skewered. It’s a great party piece and fun for children’s parties as this is also healthy.

 

Ingredients:

  • Packet of long wood skewers.

  • 1 pineapple, cut into small squares.

  • 2 cups of green and red seedless grapes.

  • 1 cantaloupe melon cut into small squares.

  • 1 cup strawberries halved.

  • 1 cup blueberries.

  • 4 cups of balsamic vinegar reduced to 2 cups.

 

Method:

  •  Fill most of the skewer with the fruit.

  • Make sure the colors are all different for contrast.

  • Place a ramekin with the dipping reduced sauce next to the skewers and serve.
